Hey, Im new

Im running Win7 x64 build 7201, and have been for months with no issues at all. Plan on buying it when its released. However... Today ive come accross a sizeable problem. Ive had some problem with an optical drive driver, so decided to uninstall the driver in the device manager, and reinstall it. However, after I uninstall it and come to search for new hardware again, it disconnects from the internet! In fact, it disconnects itself everytime I scan for new hardware! What the F***?

After it figures it cant find any more drivers (because its no longer connected to the internet) it reconnects to the internet. Btw this is using a wireless connection. Can anyone shed any light on this?
