Hi!

I am trying to install Windows 7 Build 7048. (My computer runs both 32/64 bit OS's I found on the manufacturer site) and when I put A completely blank dik in the drive. The Autoplay wont comeup asking me how I want to use the disc. The Disk tray reads both CD's and DVD's. Because when I go into computer while the dic is in the tray, computer freezes up. So can you either help me.

A: Fix the problem
-or-
B: Get an alternative to Daemon Tools WITHOUT AN SPTD INSTALLER.

Please Help!

Thanks.

first is turn off the computer....
open the case and unplug the cable to the CD-DVD drive.
reboot the computer and make sure it does not show that CD-DVD .
turnoff the computer
replace the cable to the CD-DVD drive and reboot.
this should solve the problem.
let me know is NO then i have other things to try... but this method usually fixed any CD-DVD drive problem.
