The Nexus 7 tablet is already a hot seller, having run out of stock in many retailer channels so far. So that’s why we take a break from analyzing the device and have a look at its promotion. The Google Nexus YouTube channel published a fresh ad yesterday, highlighting the bond between father and son as they play with a Nexus 7 tablet in Mother Nature’s arms.

Turns out that the Mother Nature was in fact their back yard, but still it makes for a nice outdoor experience. It’s nice to see the 7 inch quad core discretely integrated into the life of the two campers, with aspects such as video playing, Google Earth and stuff like that. It’s not like they’re checking out YouTube all day long or playing Fruit Slice and ignoring the nature. Also, as Samsung, ASUS and Apple have done over the past years in their ads, this commercial is all about family and bonding.

It’s interesting to note that when the youngster is included in the ad it actually triggers and entire series of “WANT” from teens and kids all over the world. They’ll ask the parents to buy a Nexus 7, since it looks like a cool item. It’s also cheap at $200…
