I've been getting a few spam e-mails that are from my e-mail address. Does that mean someone has control of my computer or are there other ways this could happen? I run 3 malware programs and I can't find an infection. My main OS is XP.

Guess someone just abuses Your e-mailaddress or only the e-mailname you're using and no more!

They are actually not in your pc, they are just using your e-mailname unless you're not well protected but it seems your protection/ defence is okay..

For more detailed Re:, we need some more info and or screenshots

I'll change my password and see what happens over the next week or so. If I still have a problem I'll get back to you.

Thanks Riso for your reply,

If you get another email that seems to come from your own email account check the complete header to see where the email originated. If you want send yourself an email and compare both headers.
