Microsoft no plans on releasing another Windows Home Server |

Microsoft comfirmed that they have no plans on releasing new versions of Windows Home Server, thus making Windows Home Server 2011 the final version of Home Server. Why is this? Microsoft thinks Home Server has seen the greatest of success, and will implement all Home Server features into Windows Server 2012 Essentials. "Windows Home Server has seen its greatest success in small office/home office environments and among the technology enthusiast community. For this reason, Microsoft is combining the features that were previously only found in Windows Home Server, such as support for DLNA-compliant devices and media streaming, into Windows Server 2012 Essentials. Companies and governments have made a big effort to clean systems with the help of the DNS Changer Working Group, which was set up by security experts to manage the problems.
